The Sexton's Tales Podcast

Created by Emlyn Harris the first Sexton's Tales Podcast 'The Exhumation of Ophelia', is available as a free download from the Apple iTunes Store.

The original series of twenty episodes were broadcast on BBC Radio between 1995 and 1997, and featured factual stories of the famous and infamous permanent inhabitants of London's Highgate Cemetery, the Victorian valhalla. The series, which had a cult following (due in no small part to its innovative award-winning website), has never been repeated by the BBC, so Emlyn decided to create a special podcast episode.

Narrated by the author, DIP provided recording and production podcast facilities and composed and created the soundtrack and musical score.

'The Exhumation of Ophelia', details the tragic life of Elizabeth Siddal, wife and model of the Pre Raphaelite poet and painter Gabriel Dante Rossetti, and her body's exhumation from Highgate Cemetery seven years after her death.
Download the podcast from the iTunes store or directly from this website (23MB download).
